Mai is a graduate of the 2200-hour Massage Therapy program at the Canadian Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine (CITCM). With more than 22 years of experience in the field of massage therapy, she began her career in the Philippines, continued practicing in Dubai, and now brings her extensive knowledge and therapeutic expertise to Canada.
Her approach combines both Eastern and Western therapeutic techniques to help patients reduce pain, restore mobility, and improve overall well-being. Mai incorporates a variety of treatment modalities, including cupping therapy, hot stone therapy, gua sha, deep tissue massage, and myofascial techniques to improve circulation, release fascial restrictions, decrease muscular tension, and support the body’s natural healing process.
She also specializes in orthopedic massage, a targeted, anatomy-based therapy designed to address neuromuscular pain and restricted mobility. This treatment approach combines functional assessments, deep tissue techniques, and joint mobilization to help correct structural imbalances, break down scar tissue, and improve long-term movement and function.
Each treatment is thoughtfully tailored to the individual’s needs, blending clinical skill with a calming and restorative experience. Mai is committed to helping her patients achieve physical recovery, pain relief, improved mobility, and deep relaxation through personalized therapeutic care.
